We will bundle dye our clothing with fresh botanicals from the farm. Pick flowers in the garden & learn how to print them on your garment to always remember summer time feels.
A seasonal immersion for your well-loved wardrobe. Breathe new life into your favorite garments during our Community Dye Bath at our studio. This is a collaborative gathering designed to refresh and transform. Ship us a garment* from your own collection; a faded linen shirt, a canvas vest, or vintage silk dress ... and create botanical floral prints using the eco print method.
As the seasons shift, so does our palette. We will be working with freshly picked flowers, leaves and minerals to create a cohesive range of bold colors and prints. In the garden we will pick cosmos, weld, madder root, indigo, sunflowers, coreopsis, dhalias, sage, nettle and more.
Enjoy botanical refreshments, share stories over the dye vats in our open air barn space, and walk away with a "new" garment that mirrors the blooms of summer.
*Pre-Workshop Prep: Ship Your Garments; To ensure your colors are vibrant and lasting, I’ll be professionally scouring and mordanting all fabrics the week before we meet. Upon arrival we will go over the full 3 day process of preparation.
