Each month our studio creates a big pot of seasonal color to hand dye your clothing. June’s color of the month is an earthy sage green tone that comes from the medicinal mugwort plant, growing in wild abundance all around the Hudson Valley. Some might call it invasive, although we LOVE this plant & the calming, neutral green it creates.

Some might call it invasive, although we LOVE this plant & the delicate purple hue gray tone it creates.

We LOVE this plant & the bright, energetic, golden yellow it creates.

We are working on growing our own Hudson Valley Indigo, and for now we ethically source our pigment from the Bidauu dyer’s collective in Oaxaca, MX. This is truly the most special organic blue. <3

We LOVE this native plant & the deep warm brown tones it creates.
