Hi, I am Hanoux.

/ Han - o͝oks / verb: “To Heal.”

Instilling organic beauty into everyday life using ancient techniques infused with modern forms.

My artistic medium is fabric & dye. I drape, pattern, cut, sew, dye and paint all of my creations. All images on my site are original and one of a kind.

Currently I am mastering natural dyes through education, limited edition wearable art and custom interiors.

January 2020 I will be an artist in residence @ Arquetopia, furthering my study of Natural Pigments.

Along with teaching botanical dye workshops I am an adjunct professor at Rutgers University teaching Fabric Dyeing for Costume Technology.

I’ve worked with a variety of clients and studios including: The New York City Ballet Costume Shop, LAVA Dance, The Assemblage, Novel Swim, Ambrosia Elixirs, Clear Studios, Area Environments, Fleeting Dream Design, Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Found My Animal, Haptic Lab, Izquerido Costume Studio, and on set of TV/Film & Theater productions through the Local 764 Theatrical Wardrobe Union (Pose, The Black List, Gotham, Instinct, Windows on the World, Madame Secretary and more.)
